Getting around Salamanca

The majority of Salamanca is a no car zone, which makes getting around on foot or cycling easy.

There is also a good bus service if you need to across the city quickly when the weather is bad or if you are in a hurry. Salamanca has therteen different bus routes. The bus service runs from around 07:30 to 23:30. There is also a city night bus which runs from 21:30 to 04:00.

You can buy a single ticket or a bus travel card (a pay-as-you-go card which you can credit with €5 at a time and use to pay your fare every time you use the bus). You can buy these cards at the following establishments: Gran Vía nº4 and Plaza del Mercado nº7.
